Board of Directors

Kelly Thawley, Assistant Director of Workforce Education at Florida SouthWestern State College, is responsible for scholarships and recruitment within the Workforce Education Division. She is dedicated to helping students discover their passions, providing training and education opportunities, collaborating with local partners, and connecting students to the SWFL workforce.

Kelly serves on the Board of Directors for The Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce. She is also deeply committed to inspiring women to connect and fulfill their true potential, by serving on the Women in Business Committee and as Secretary on the Board of Directors for Our Mother’s Home. Kelly graduated summa cum laude from Muskingum University, Ohio, with a Bachelor’s degree in Education and a minor in Psychology. Kelly is a recipient of Gulfshore Business’ 40 Under 40 in 2022 and was a member of SWFL Inc.’s Leadership Class of 2020.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, exploring locally, and reading.
