Since 2000, we’ve been a beacon of hope, providing a safe haven for teen mothers and their babies.
But now, it’s time to take our mission to the next level… LITERALLY!
Imagine a place where every mother has her own space to grow and thrive, where independence isn’t just a dream but a reality.
That’s the vision for our new home, set to open its doors this Summer!
In our new building, each mother and child will have their own room, fostering a sense of privacy and independence. But that’s not all – we’re also creating transitional living apartments for our young women aged 18-21. These spaces will offer the freedom and support they need to take those crucial steps towards independence, without compromising on safety or resources.
But we can’t do it alone. We need your support to turn this vision into a reality. Whether you’re able to contribute financially or offer your expertise in the building industry, every bit helps. Together, we can break the cycle of poverty and foster care, giving these young mothers and their babies the chance they deserve.
And it doesn’t stop there. Our new building will feature an expanded Educational Center equipped with state-of-the-art technology, providing even more opportunities for growth and success. Plus, with a separate daycare facility, our residents can focus on their education knowing their babies are in good hands.

Our Mother’s Home Awarded Lowe’s Hometown 100 Grant
Our Mother’s Home of Southwest Florida (OMH) has received a significant grant of $110,000, selected as one of 100 community projects across the U.S. as part of Lowe’s Hometowns program.
Hurricane Ian Cleanup at New Home by Dedicated Volunteers
The community came out to support OMH and our new building with a huge Hurricane Ian clean up and demolition day. Over 75 volunteers came to remove debris, take down walls, etc. Thank you!
