Azil is a Senior Client Manager with Wellspring Associates with nearly two decades of experience in the financial services industry assisting affluent families and family offices. In her current role, Azil works with Brian Friedman on matters pertaining to estate, charitable and business succession planning. She relies on her experience in client service and process implementation to serve clients through the Wealth Integration Process.
With a demonstrated ability to multitask and complete complex projects, Azil takes pride in her work and dedication to maintaining client relationships. Prior to joining Wellspring Associates, her responsibilities included management of all aspects of company operations for her previous employer. Azil’s wealth of experience contributes to her in-depth understanding of how to service clients, helping ensure efficient wealth preservation and transfer planning through Wealth Integration.
Outside Wellspring Associates, Azil enjoys giving back to the community. She is a new board member of Our Mother’s Home, a charity that endeavors to empower young mothers in the foster care system and is also a member of the Fort Myers Historical Preservation Commission. In the past she has also served on the board of Blankets and Blessings, a Florida non-profit that provides supplies and shelter for the local homeless community and Canstruction Atlanta, a charity that hosts events displaying exhibits constructed of canned goods. The food is donated to organizations providing community hunger relief.
Azil graduated from California State University, Dominguez Hills, where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree. She is originally from Cape Town, South Africa, and moved to the United States as a teenager. Most of her family remains in South Africa where her lineage can be traced back to the 1600s. Azil and her husband, Jeff, live in Fort Myers, Florida. They have a son, Hunter, and two daughters, Emily and Tori. She is an avid and adventurous traveler who attempts to visit at least two new countries each year.
