Gina Duresky moved to Lee County as an FGCU student in 2008. There she earned her bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education.

Gina was a teacher in the School District of Lee County for 12 years. Most recently, she was a reading teacher at the Young Parent Education Program (YPEP). YPEP is a unique program in Lee County School District that allows young parents to focus on their education, while receiving parent support, access to social services and an onsite daycare for students. Supporting students is her life’s work, but supporting young parents is her passion.

Today, Gina is a grants manager for MJ White Consulting, Inc. – focusing on compliance, performance management, and internal controls in Federal grants.

Outside of work, Gina is a mother of two. She enjoys time at the beach with her husband and kids, snuggling her dog, and learning piano. She is grateful for the opportunity to serve on the OMH board.
