Our Mother’s Home of Southwest Florida Welcomes Angela Rackley-Meadows as New Executive Director

Our Mother’s Home of Southwest Florida (OMH), a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering young mothers and their children, is thrilled to announce the appointment of Angela Rackley as its new Executive Director. Rackley brings over 30 years of experience in human services, youth development, and organizational leadership to the role.

Prior to joining Our Mother’s Home, Rackley served as the Executive Center Director for the Gary Job Corps Center, the
largest such facility in the United States. Located on an 800-acre campus, the center supports 1,450 students with a staff of
518 across over 100 buildings. In her role, Rackley managed comprehensive programs and activities to ensure the success
of students and staff while meeting the operational objectives established by the U.S. Department of Labor.

Rackley began her career at Youth Empowerment Services in Albany, NY, where she focused on counseling and case
management with an emphasis on sexual and reproductive health for adolescents. Her extensive experience also includes
consulting, board service for organizations such as Holding Our Own and The Women’s Building, and active participation in
professional forums like the North Atlantic Training Institute for Sexual Health.

Her career also includes leadership roles at the Shriver, Little Rock, Albuquerque, Sacramento, and Charleston Job Corps
Centers. Additionally, Rackley served as Corporate Director of Student Support Services at Insights Training Group LLC,
where she provided corporate oversight for residential living, counseling, behavior management, and recreational programs
at multiple sites nationwide. Her responsibilities spanned program development, staff training, and technical support to
enhance the quality of services delivered to young people.

“I am honored to join Our Mother’s Home and excited to contribute to its vital mission of breaking the cycle of poverty and
abuse for young mothers and their children,” Rackley said. “This opportunity aligns perfectly with my passion for youth and
adolescent development, organizational leadership, and change management.”

Rackley holds a bachelor’s degree in human services and community psychology from SUNY Empire State University. She
resides in Florida with her husband and is the proud mother of four young adult children: Terrance, Tai, Toni, and Tavion.
Under Rackley’s leadership, Our Mother’s Home looks forward to expanding its impact and continuing its legacy of fostering
independence and hope for young mothers in the foster care system.
